Our Story

Wood Floor Warehouse is a family owned business that first began in Bangor, Northern Ireland in 2001. It was started by Roy Burns who had many years of experience selling wooden floors to the building trade. It was a runaway success with both trade and public customers able to see a large range of wood flooring under one roof and in stock. Combined with a large range of in-stock ready to go wood and laminate flooring accessories to choose from, it was a not long before another store was opened in Belfast Northern Ireland,  to service the demand Wood Floor Warehouse had created.

With the opening of the new shop, Roy's son and daughter (Julie and Darren) joined the Wood Floor Warehouse Team. In 2009 we launched our website due to a very high demand for laminate flooring in the UK. Our great value high quality floors were delivered all over the UK and Ireland. We quickly grew to become one of the largest wood flooring retailers in the region and in 2015, Roy’s youngest daughter (Victoria) joined the team to head up the opening of a new store in Warrington, England. Our Warrington wood flooring store is now the largest wood flooring showroom in all of the UK and Ireland and is attracting customers from as far away as Scotland and London to the Cheshire County.
